loved it! we have very similar views on weight loss and health, I think. I love that you talk about how many people lose faster, especially on those first months. I’ve lost (and am still losing) weight slowly (even more so if I compare it to other fitblrs) and I think that it’s mainly because I bear in mind that yes, it’s a lifestyle change and so it will take time. but also, I keep it real. for me. I’m not saying this is OK for everybody (and it’s one of the reasons why I haven’t been posting as much and why I said what I said the other day) but in my case, I wouldn’t be honest if I preached about being healthy and at the same time said I won’t ever eat a brownie again. because I like chocolate. I like food (who doesn’t) and yes, I’m still losing weight so I’m trying to keep away from unhealthy, fattening things. but if I want to be honest (and I do), I still endulge from time to time and I plan on doing it for the rest of my life. because I enjoy going out with friends or being at a birthday party and eating a bit of cake. I won’t eat as much as I used to, or as often. but the most important thing about being healthy is being happy (it’s what we all strive for in the end isn’t it), and for the time in my life last year in which I went a little ‘crazy’ and wouldn’t want to be near a chocolate bar I wasn’t truly happy with it. so now I’m re-learning that, too. and I’m much happier with myself.
